About the product

What exactly is Vitalkeep?

A 24/7 passive monitoring system for older people living alone at home. A lightweight wristband and a few smart plugs that detect presence and movement room by room, without cameras or microphones. It alerts the family only when it matters.

How does it know what’s happening with no cameras?

The wristband has an accelerometer and talks to the plugs over Bluetooth. As your parent moves around the home, the plugs know which room they’re in, for how long, and whether there’s been movement. The wristband detects falls and has an SOS button.

Do I need WiFi at home?

Yes. The plugs connect to home WiFi to send data to the app. The wristband doesn’t need WiFi — it speaks Bluetooth to the plugs.

What if the power goes out?

The wristband has its own battery (lasts 5-7 days). The plugs lose function without power, but the wristband still detects falls; as soon as power is back or another Bluetooth signal is in range, it reconnects.

What if my parent takes the wristband off?

It’s lightweight, hypoallergenic and water-resistant. Even so, if it’s left on the bedside table, the plugs notice there’s no movement around the house and the app alerts you about the prolonged absence.

Before you buy

How many plugs do I need at home?

We recommend 2 to 3 per home: kitchen, bedroom and living room cover 90% of daily routines. For large or two-storey homes, add one more.

Does it work for two people in the same home?

Yes. Each person needs their own wristband (additional €30). The plugs are shared.

Is there a minimum contract?

No. The subscription is €25/month and you can cancel any time, effective at month end. The first 30 days are free.

How long does delivery take?

Mainland Spain: 7 days, free shipping. Balearic and Canary Islands: 10 days with shipping fee.

After you buy

How is it installed?

The kit arrives pre-configured. Plug in the smart plugs, connect them to WiFi from the app, and the wristband is already paired. There’s a step-by-step guide.

Do I need a technician?

No. Any son, daughter or grandchild can set it up in 15-20 minutes.

Who receives the alerts?

Up to 5 caregivers connected to the app, on their phones. You decide who they are and what kind of alert each one gets.

What do I do if a fall alert goes off?

The app shows what happened and where. Call your relative directly from the app or, if serious, dial emergency services. Our system does not replace the emergency line.

Is it on iOS and Android?

Yes, both. Search «Vitalkeep» on the App Store and Google Play.

How many caregivers can connect?

Up to 5 per home, at no extra cost.

Does the app work outside Spain?

Yes. As long as your phone has internet, you receive alerts wherever you are.

Can I mute alerts at night?

Yes. Each caregiver sets their own schedule and which alerts are priority. Critical ones (fall, SOS) always ring.

Billing

What do I pay when I buy?

Only the hardware (wristband €30, plugs €60 each). The €25/month subscription starts after the 30-day trial.

Payment methods?

Debit or credit card and SEPA direct debit.

Do I get an invoice?

Yes, automatically by email every month. Also in the app, «Billing» section.

How do I cancel the subscription?

From the app, settings > subscription, or by writing to us. No questions, no commitment.
